A tribal elder was killed by unidentified individuals in North Waziristan

Haji Noor Majan, hailing from the Zoi Saidgai area of Datta Khel tehsil near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan, was killed by unidentified individuals. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.

Also, unknown assailants carried out a grenade attack on the police checkpost of Jamrud Police Station, located in the Ghundi area of Khyber District. The attack resulted in injuries to two passersby, who were immediately transported to Jamrud Hospital for medical treatment.

According to SHO Shah Khalid, the explosion caused partial damage to the gate of the checkpost; however, the police personnel remained unharmed. Following the attack, the police cordoned off the area, initiated an investigation, and launched a search operation for the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, in the Khoga Khel Fatima Khel area of Landi Kotal, a person lost his life, and another was critically injured while repairing an electrical transformer.
