MULTAN:

The scenic Multan Cricket Stadium is gearing up to host two historic Test matches between Pakistan and West Indies, marking the Caribbean side's first Test tour to Pakistan in 19 years.

Scheduled from January 17 to 29, 2025, the matches have brought the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), local administration, and police together to finalise comprehensive preparations.

A high-level meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Bukhari, was held on Thursday to discuss arrangements for the event.

Bukhari assured the PCB of full administrative and security support, emphasizing the importance of ensuring a flawless experience for both teams and cricket enthusiasts.

Highlighting Multan's reputation as the "City of Saints," the Deputy Commissioner pledged exemplary hospitality for the visiting West Indies team during their two-week stay.
