Killers dump victim's body on roadside

DIJKOT:

Unidentified suspects strangulated a trans person in the area of Saddar police station on Wednesday.

The body was found lying on the roadside and the citizens reported to the police. The police took the body into custody and shifted it to the hospital.

Faisalabad CPO DIG Kamran Adil issued orders to arrest the accused while seeking a report from SP Iqbal Town on the incident of killing of eunuch. According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of 32-year-old trans person Imran alias Anjali, a resident of Chak 229 RB, was found in Saddar police station area.

The killers had thrown the body near Makwana bypass and escaped. Seeing the body, the citizens informed the police.

On receiving the information, police officers including SP Iqbal Town Abid Hussain Zafar, DSP Saddar and SHO Saddar Ali Ikram Goraya reached the spot and started the legal process by shifting the body of the eunuch to the hospital for post-mortem.

City Police Officer DIG Kamran Adil has issued instructions to form special teams to arrest the accused while seeking an immediate report from SP Iqbal Town regarding the discovery of the eunuch's body.

Meanwhile, a young man died due to the alleged negligence of doctors in a private hospital in Medina Town.

Dozens of relatives of the deceased created a ruckus in the hospital and demanded action against the doctors.

The detail stated that a man named Owais was brought to a private hospital in the area of Medina Town police station for a jaw operation. During this time, the doctor gave him an anaesthetic before the operation, which was overdosed, resulting in Owais losing his life.

After the incident, the doctor kept his body in the operation theatre for five hours and then disappeared.
