Asim Azhar travelled to Courchevel, a ski resort in the French Alps, and got creative with the experience, which he shared on his Instagram handle. Posing against white plains and snow-capped mountains, the singer stretched his arms wide in the style of Bollywood's romance king Shah Rukh Khan.
Channelling Raj from the fan-favourite film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Asim wrote, "Where my Simran at?" The bit caught the attention of Durefishan Saleem, who cheekily tagged Asim's fiancée. And as requested, Merub Ali pulled through with a simple "Raj!" in the comments section. Bringing the sentiment full circle, Asim replied, "Here you are."
Of course, the 28-year-old singer's gesture didn't go unnoticed by fans who remarked in all kinds of ways, and he was happy to indulge. "I have the same coat but I bought it from Pindi's Sunday bazar," a user hilariously commented. "It's possible that I got it from there too," Asim encouraged. "OMG no way you wore those shoes in the snow! How'd you not fall, bro?" a fan wondered. "Who said I didn't?" came the reply.
The Jo Tu Na Mila singer is a romantic at heart, and he continues to prove that fact. YOU, his collaborative track with Hasan Raheem, now has a pastel-themed music video that visualises the softness of the song. Although the beat possesses an ear-friendly thrum, the lyrics do not tone down the passion that comes with true love.
The two artists, who are dressed in light, casual wear, also follow gentle quirks in line with the melody of the song. Even fans on Instagram were quick to pour in some praise. "Both of you look super cute," complimented a user. Another user even compared the two singers to Elphaba and Glinda from Wicked, owing to the outfit choices.
One term especially made a frequent appearance across the comments section. "A pookie-core music video, this was!" a fan remarked. The word didn't slip past the artists' notice. "How many pookies will you kill?" Hasan hilariously commented. "A pookie will come from every house," Asim indulged.
