Rapper Young Thug has reportedly addressed the controversy surrounding a resurfaced video from 2022 showing him on a call with model Leena Sayed. The 14-minute video has gone viral on the internet this week.
On December 23, 2024, Young Thug posted a series of cryptic tweets on X, seemingly referencing the viral clip. In his first tweet, Thug wrote: “Them n*ggas don showed they hands, them n*ggas ain’t in… #saytwin."
In a follow-up tweet, he added: “Man me and twin was talking bout some whole other serious sh*t, I don’t know y she spoke on loving other people or anything else cause ain giving no f*ck bout no h*es or n*ggas I’m the capital P lol that’s my twin and nothing else. Never have never will lol."
His final tweet read: “I can have that lil sh*t right now if I wanted it, but she been pushing the p harder then ni**as lol that’s the twin…I got who I want.”
The resurfaced video dates back to 2022, when Instagram model Leena Sayed visited Young Thug at Cobb County Corrections Facility. During the alleged jail call, Sayed was seen crying and telling Thug, “I only want you.” The video was reportedly leaked by Law & Crime.
For those unaware, Young Thug was released from jail on October 31, 2024, after pleading guilty to gun, drug, and gang-related charges. He served over 900 days in jail before reaching a plea deal with Judge Paige Reese Whitaker. The deal included time served and a 15-year probation sentence.
The leaked private video of Young Thug and Leena Sayed has raised questions about their alleged relationship. In the video, reportedly released by Law & Crime, the rapper and model were seen having an emotional conversation.
In the clip, Sayed explained a misunderstanding and expressed her wish for Young Thug to be free. She said: “I obviously want you to be out of jail and out here with me, do you get what I mean?”
For background, Leena Sayed is an Afghan-American model born in New York in 1992. She was reportedly married to boxer Devin Haney in 2023. Recently, Sayed announced her pregnancy by sharing a series of baby bump photos on Instagram, captioning them “bump dump.”
