Police honour Christian officers

A colorful ceremony was held at the Central Police Office in honor of the Christian officers and employees on the occasion of Christmas.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar attended the event as the chief guest and cut the Christmas cake with the Christian officers and employees of CPO. IGP Punjab also extended Christmas greetings to the Christian employees and awarded certificates of appreciation to those who had shown outstanding performance.

IGP Punjab announced a Christmas bonus of 10,000 rupees per person and an additional holiday for the Christian employees of CPO.

While addressing the Christian officers and employees, IG Punjab said that the Punjab Police shares in the joy of their Christian brothers and sisters during Christmas.

He further mentioned that the Punjab Police will provide full security to churches, Christian communities, and settlements during the Christmas celebrations.

He added that Christian officers and employees, along with those from other minority communities, hold key positions in the Punjab Police.
