Millie Bobby Brown delivered an emotional farewell speech as filming for the fifth and final season of Netflix's Stranger Things officially wrapped this week.
“I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys,” the actress shared in a heartfelt video re-shared on X by Pop Crave. “I love each and every one of you, and I’ll forever carry the memories and bonds we’ve created together as a family. I love you".

The video struck a chord with fans who have followed Brown’s journey since she debuted as Eleven at just 12 years old. Over the years, she also starred in and produced other Netflix projects, including two Enola Holmes films and Damsel.
In her own Instagram post, Brown wrote “with love, el ❤” alongside a collection of behind-the-scenes photos spanning the series’ run.
Co-stars Finn Wolfhard and Noah Schnapp also shared emotional goodbyes. Wolfhard reminisced about their younger days on set, stating, “We shot it for a year, and I’ll miss all of my friends and our characters terribly.” Schnapp added that the show was a “lifelong dream” that profoundly shaped his life.
The Duffer brothers, creators of Stranger Things, celebrated the series’ conclusion, emphasizing the passion poured into crafting a satisfying finale.
Netflix confirmed the wrap with a social media post, teasing, “See you in 2025,” and shared behind-the-scenes photos.
Since its 2016 debut, Stranger Things has become one of Netflix’s most successful shows, earning over 230 award nominations and 70 wins, including 12 Primetime Emmys. The final season, set in fall 1987, will premiere in 2025.
The first four seasons of Stranger Things are available for streaming on Netflix.
