Former Bollywood actress Sana Khan is facing severe criticism on social media after expressing her desire to have more children, despite already announcing her second pregnancy.
In a recent Instagram video, Sana Khan, who left her acting career to embrace a religious life, shared how her husband, Anas, supported her during the pregnancy and birth of their first child. The couple is now awaiting the arrival of their second child.
While discussing her family plans in the video, Sana revealed her wish to have a large family. "In the past, people used to have 12 children, and I wish I could have 5 or 10 children," she said.
The actress also spoke about her experience with post-partum depression after the birth of her first child. She suggested that focusing on spirituality could help overcome the challenges of depression, a statement which triggered further controversy.
Social media users have been critical of her remarks, pointing out that with her wealth and household staff, it may be easier for her to manage multiple children.
Many also criticised her stance on post-partum depression, with some stating that while spirituality is important, the condition requires medical attention and should not be dismissed.
