BTS member Jungkook has once again demonstrated his global influence, shattering multiple records with a surprise Weverse livestream on December 18. The stream attracted over 20.2 million real-time viewers within three hours, surpassing his previous record and even overtaking the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony, which garnered 16.4 million viewers.

While breaking these impressive records, Jungkook kept the livestream engaging with personal interactions and musical performances. He directly connected with fans, known as ARMYs, after a prolonged absence, answering questions, performing songs, and providing a long-awaited house tour. The stream became the most-viewed individual live in real-time on Weverse, cementing Jungkook’s status as the first and fastest solo artist to achieve this milestone.

Jungkook’s achievements didn’t stop there. He became the first individual to host multiple livestreams with over 15 million real-time views on Weverse and the first artist to surpass 20 million real-time viewers across multiple platforms, including Instagram. Notably, he also holds the Top 3 spots for the most-viewed individual lives in real-time history.

Fans were treated to an intimate karaoke session where Jungkook performed solo hits like Standing Next to You, Still With You, and 3D. He also showcased his vocal versatility with covers of songs by BLACKPINK’s Rosé, Bruno Mars, G-Dragon, and more. Additionally, Jungkook reminded fans not to send gifts to his new address and expressed his excitement for a potential comeback next year.

Jungkook’s ability to connect with fans while setting global records solidifies his position as one of the most influential artists of his generation. His plans for a comeback promise even more milestones ahead, further strengthening his bond with ARMYs worldwide.
