Timothée Chalamet and Saoirse Ronan reunited at the BFI Southbank in London on Wednesday night for an In Conversation Q&A event celebrating their careers and upcoming films.
The duo, who famously played love interests in Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird (2017) and Little Women (2019), appeared delighted to be back together.
Chalamet, 28, discussed his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, which explores Dylan's 1965 transition to electric instruments at the Newport Folk Festival. The film, set for a Christmas Day release, features Chalamet performing his own vocals alongside a star-studded cast, including Elle Fanning and Edward Norton.
Ronan, 30, spotlighted her first venture as a producer with The Outrun, in which she stars as Rona, a newly-rehabbed alcoholic returning to her Orkney Islands hometown. Adapted from Amy Liptrot’s memoir, the film has earned praise for its heartfelt exploration of addiction and recovery. Ronan co-produced the project with her husband, Jack Lowden, calling it their "baby."
The actors' contrasting styles were evident in their fashion choices. Chalamet sported a distressed brown leather jacket over a yellow shirt and cargo trousers, while Ronan stunned in a pink organza dress paired with elegant pearl earrings.
Fans were thrilled to see the pair together again, as both films add new dimensions to their already impressive resumes. With A Complete Unknown and The Outrun poised for critical acclaim, Chalamet and Ronan continue to solidify their status as two of Hollywood's brightest stars.
