JI emir Hafiz Naeem Ahmed on Wednesday said that the elite in the country believed that they were the real rulers, while the establishment has enslaved around 90 percent population.
The "establishment" is a euphemism used by politicians for the military. The JI chief was addressing the Convention for the Rights of Students. He said the JI was in the forefront to defend the country's ideological boundaries, saying, "The basis for the creation of Pakistan was Islamic Ideology". "Islam teaches us equality."
The JI emir said to maintain their iron grip on the system, the ruling elite has established a closely-knitted family relations.
