On Wednesday, Mahesh Mishra, Group Head of Trade and Economy and Political Counsellor at the British High Commission, visited the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) to discuss opportunities for strengthening trade relations.

During his address, Mishra introduced a new development programme crafted by the United Kingdom to support Pakistani exporters. This initiative aims to improve export capacity, encourage innovation, and facilitate access to international markets, particularly in the UK. He emphasised that the programme would play a key role in fostering sustainable trade practices and enhancing Pakistan's export potential. The discussions during the meeting revolved around potential collaborations, strategic goals, and the critical role of Sialkot's export-driven industries in advancing this initiative.
