Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday began a three-day official visit to Egypt to participate in the Eleventh Summit of the Developing Eight (D-8) countries, held under the theme, ‘Investing in Youth and Supporting SMEs: Shaping Tomorrow’s Economy’.

Representing Pakistan, the prime minister will underscore the significance of investing in youth and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as a pathway to economic resilience.

He will reiterate Pakistan’s commitment to the D-8’s foundational principles and advocate for enhanced cooperation in agriculture, food security, and tourism to drive mutual growth among member states.
