Lily-Rose Depp shared rare insights about her brother Jack Depp, who has embraced a quieter life away from fame.
The 25-year-old actress revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that her latest film, Nosferatu, holds nostalgic ties to her sibling. “My brother and I were obsessed with Abbott and Costello as kids, especially their ‘Meet Dracula’ series,” she recalled, adding that Jack, now 22, often dressed as Dracula and acted out scenes.
Jack, who works as a bartender at the trendy Lebanese restaurant L’Area in Paris’ Bastille quarter, has kept out of the public eye. According to the restaurant’s owner, Edouard Chueke, Jack has been a “great employee” and is expected to return after taking a leave of absence. Lily-Rose, who occasionally visits the restaurant, once showcased her bartending skills by mixing caipirinhas.
Despite their contrasting lifestyles, the Depp siblings share a close bond. Lily-Rose described her role in Nosferatu as a “totally full circle moment” inspired by their childhood memories. She hopes her performance will “get some cool points” with her brother.
Jack’s decision to avoid the limelight aligns with their mother Vanessa Paradis’ approach to parenting. In a 2007 interview, Paradis expressed her desire to protect her children from fame, allowing them to decide their paths independently.
Lily-Rose continues to make waves in Hollywood with roles in Nosferatu and HBO’s The Idol. She is also active in her personal life, marking milestones with her girlfriend, 070 Shake, while celebrating her multifaceted career.
