K-P Chief Minster Ali Amin Gandapur could not meet incarcerated former PM Imran Khan on Monday after being informed by jail officials that it was not a visitor's day.
The PTI founder was arrested in August last year. He faces more than 150 cases, including charges of corruption, incitement to violence, sedition, and leaking state secrets since his removal in April 2022 through a no-confidence vote.
The K-P chief minister's protocol stayed outside Adiala Jail for some time. After the jail authorities formally informed him that he could not meet him, the chief minister left for Peshawar. He intended to come on Tuesday (today) to get an audience with his leader, sources said.
