As the highly anticipated 'Yellowstone' finale draws near, Kelly Reilly, who has portrayed the fierce Beth Dutton, reflected on the show’s impact and her own journey over the past seven years.
Currently in Wales filming 'Under Salt Marsh', a Sky Original series, Reilly took a moment to acknowledge the conclusion of the groundbreaking drama.
“Hi, I’m so deep into another role at the moment,” Reilly wrote, “but across the pond, the finale is happening tonight. Whatever the future holds, this is the end of the show we’ve been making for the past seven years.”
Reilly expressed profound gratitude for her time on 'Yellowstone', sharing that the experience profoundly affected her. “Words cannot convey how I feel about the people I got to work and create with,” she said, highlighting the lifelong friendships she’s formed. “The words I got to say and the woman I got to inhabit—it changed me. It lit me up. It challenged me in every way possible, and I will forever be grateful for it.”
The actress also expressed special thanks to series creator Taylor Sheridan, crediting him with taking a chance on her and allowing her to bring Beth Dutton to life in ways that “set her on fire” as an actor.
Though the 'Yellowstone' series comes to an end, Reilly assured fans that her journey as Beth Dutton isn’t over. She will soon reprise her role in a new spin-off series alongside Cole Hauser, continuing the beloved story of Beth and Rip Wheeler.
