K-P committed to polio eradication

PESHAWAR:

K-P Health Advisor, Ihtesham Ali Advocate formally launched the polio program in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa starting December 15, 2024.

On this occasion, he emphasised the importance of eradicating polio and participated in the national campaign by administering the first dose of the polio vaccine to his daughter.

Addressing the ceremony, the health advisor stated that eradicating polio is among the government's top priorities, and every possible effort is being made to achieve this goal. He urged parents to ensure their children receive polio drops to protect future generations from this debilitating disease.

He further stated that the success of the polio campaign depends on public cooperation. "It is our collective responsibility to play an active role in fulfilling this national duty.

Ihtesham Ali praised the dedication and hard work of the anti-polio teams, calling them the heroes who are tirelessly striving to secure the future of our nation.

He appealed to the public to extend full cooperation to polio teams and contribute to the success of the mission to eradicate polio.
