Singers Shae Gill and Annural Khalid took to their respective Instagram handles this week to spam their fans and followers with pictures and reels of their recent trip to Dubai. Sharing a carousel of candid images featuring both artists sharing snippets of their trip, one thing is clear: if the beaming smiles are any indication, the close bond between the two friends is as solid as ever.
Keeping her followers in the loop, Shae shared a mixture of 15 images and short videos in chronological order, beginning with her business class flight and moving on to time spent at what appears to be a mall with her friend Annural. After a series of shots of a make-up session, we are treated to a reel of Annural and Shae having the time of their lives as they dance the night away at what appears to be a traditional South Asian event featuring a host of colourful outfits.
Further down the carousel, clad in blue jeans, a simple black T-shirt and sealing the look with a black leather jacket, Annural poses next to a harbour at night, with a blurry shot of a smiling Shae holding up her phone as if to take a photo in the next photo. The account may be Shae's, but both women share equal limelight in the photo dump.
Annural's photo dump is startlingly similar. The singer shared a combination of no less than 16 photos and images, opening with a selfie showing herself glammed up in a black dress and adorned in jewellery. With her long locks cascading down her shoulders, Annural's eye-catching red nails seal her dazzling look. From here, we segue into a behind-the-scenes video of her performing on stage in the same dress, moving on to a snippet depicting Dubai's scenery. We are then invited into a sneak peek of Annural having her hair styled, followed by a selfie of herself with friends as they are ready to take on the nightlife. Shae herself can be seen beaming behind Annural, clad in a sequinned silver sleeveless dress.
A few more pictures down the line, we see yet another selfie of the two beaming friends, as well as an artistic shot of what appears to be a restaurant table. Glitz, glamour, concerts and fine dining appear to be the theme of this trip to Dubai – as well as the gratifying bond between two artists celebrating each other.
