Jade Thirlwall, now performing under the moniker JADE, is forging her path as a solo artist following Little Mix's hiatus over two years ago.

After years of collective success, JADE is focusing on individuality and creative expression, with her debut single “Angel of My Dreams” making waves online.

Speaking with Paper Magazine, JADE discussed how stepping away from Little Mix allowed her to grow personally and professionally. "It was my whole life, so to come out of that was scary," she said. Therapy and self-reflection helped her embrace a balance between work and personal life, shaping her creative vision.

JADE credits this time of introspection for the breakthrough success of her debut. "People didn’t know what I was capable of on my own," she noted. Her music and visuals draw from influences like Lady Gaga and UK pop legends Girls Aloud, blending cinematic storytelling with bold, experimental sounds.

Her music videos, including “Angel,” feature striking visuals inspired by pop culture and crafted with acclaimed collaborators like David LaChapelle. The video’s blend of glamour and dark undertones reflects JADE’s unique creative identity.

Beyond music, JADE cherishes her connection to the LGBTQ+ community, drawing inspiration from drag culture and her experiences as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. "I feel like I channel that creative energy in my own way," she explained.

With a fresh solo perspective, JADE is carving a niche in the pop world, showcasing her versatility, individuality, and deep love for music and art. Fans eagerly await her upcoming album and music videos that promise to surprise and inspire.
