Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur met with former federal minister Mohammad Ali Durrani to discuss political reconciliation.
The two leaders met at the Chief Minister's House in Peshawar where Advisor to the Chief Minister Barrister Saif was also present, according to a statement received by The Express Tribune.
The discussion centred on the current political situation in the country, with both leaders exchanging views on advancing the reconciliation process. They agreed to collaborate on promoting reconciliation in the country’s political landscape.
Additionally, the CM had a telephone conversation with Jamaat-e-Islami senior leader Liaqat Baloch and Safdar Abbasi from the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA). During the call, they discussed the ongoing reconciliation process and agreed to expedite efforts in this regard.
Meanwhile, sources indicated that CM Gandapur and PTI’s central leadership are likely to contact other political parties to further advance the reconciliation process.
