Katy Perry has opened up about her fitness routine and addressed viral biceps photos, which caused a stir online, during the filming of her ITV concert special, Night of a Lifetime, in London. The pop star, 40, dismissed rumors linking her weight loss to Ozempic, sharing that her figure is a result of swimming, dancing, and dietary discipline.
“I hate working out,” Katy joked, adding, “I love to dance and swim—things that don’t feel like working out.” She attributed her toned arms to swimming, saying, “I hear that my biceps were going around the internet. That’s a little bit from my swimming.”
Katy revealed her fiancé Orlando Bloom plays a significant role in her health journey. “Orlando is a better cook than me, but I make a crazy avocado toast,” she said. The singer adopted Bloom’s diet and exercise routine, cutting out processed foods and reducing alcohol intake. A source close to Perry confirmed, “Her weight loss has nothing to do with Ozempic. She just worked hard and is eating better than ever.”
Preparing for her upcoming Lifetimes world tour, Katy admitted she may hit the gym to prepare for the dance-heavy shows. “By the time I go on tour, it will be eight years since my last one,” she shared.
The singer also humorously addressed Ozempic rumors at her 40th birthday bash in October, giving guests mini syringes labeled “OzempiKP” as party favors.
With her new album and tour on the horizon, Katy continues to impress fans with her discipline, fitness, and humor.
