Paparazzi photos surfaced earlier this week, revealing to the public that Donald Trump Jr. is romantically involved with socialite Bettina Anderson.
However, locals in Palm Beach had already witnessed their relationship.
Reportedly, just before the revealing photos were taken, Page Six learned that the couple was openly displaying affection while dining out.
A source shared that earlier in the evening, “Donald Trump Jr. was having dinner at Buccan in a corner booth… holding hands and kissing his girlfriend.”
The insider further noted, “He was chatting with customers on his way out and very friendly.”
Following their meal, “he got into a massive pickup truck that was parked in front of the restaurant.”
Outside the venue, another source revealed that Don Jr. and Anderson were so engrossed in each other that they didn’t notice paparazzi trailing them and capturing images of the couple holding hands.
On Tuesday, Page Six exclusively disclosed that Trump Jr., 46, and his fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, 55, had ended their engagement.
“Kim is not happy about it,” says a source. “She didn’t want it to end.”
That same day, Guilfoyle was appointed as the US ambassador to Greece by President-elect Donald Trump, coinciding with the release of photos showing Don Jr. and Anderson holding hands and the report that the political duo had split.
Trump and Anderson were also spotted in September enjoying brunch at Honor Bar in Palm Beach, where they were reportedly “locking lips,” as per the Daily Mail.
At that time, multiple insiders close to Trump and Guilfoyle assured Page Six that the pair remained together. (One insider even stated in September, “They are 100 percent together.”)
Yet, another source mentioned then, “Don and Kimberly haven’t been getting along over the past year. They get argumentative at Mar-a-Lago in front of people. Nothing crazy, but you know when a couple is fighting. They bicker in public.”
Anderson, who is a close friend of Trump’s ex-wife, Vanessa, was observed seated behind him and Guilfoyle during the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in mid-July, as Page Six exclusively reported.
