The post-mortem report of Aneeka Shaukat, a young woman allegedly killed by her in-laws in Mughalpura, has as shown that she had been subjected to severe violence, resulting in multiple deep injuries across her body.
The fatal blow was a severe wound near her heart, which caused significant internal bleeding and led to her death.
The post-mortem findings also revealed that blood had accumulated around Aneeka's heart due to the trauma, a condition that proved fatal.
Additionally, she sustained a serious head injury.
Meanwhile, a 45-year-old man identified as Sakhawat was found dead near Panj Peer Darbar in Ghaziabad. Initial reports suggest he succumbed to a drug overdose.
In Sundar, a 50-year-old man, Muhammad Saiful, a resident of Muzaffargarh, lost his life in a traffic accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In Manga Mandi, the body of a 35-year-old unidentified man was discovered lying by the roadside.
Efforts are underway to determine his identity and the circumstances of his death.
Police from the respective stations have transferred the bodies to a morgue with the assistance of Edhi ambulances and have initiated legal proceedings.
