In early December 2024, popular Twitch streamer Asmongold (real name Zack) made waves by monetizing his alternate account, Zackrawrr, on Twitch.

The move came after a long period of non-monetization, which left fans unable to subscribe and Asmongold missing out on significant revenue. However, Twitch finally stepped in, offering the account a partner status to run ads, realizing it was losing money by hosting his streams without monetization.

The result was staggering: Within just days of monetizing Zackrawrr, Asmongold hit a remarkable milestone. By December 10, the account boasted nearly 40,000 subscribers, securing its spot as the ninth most subscribed channel on the platform. This achievement placed him ahead of popular streamers such as xQc and members of FaZe Clan.

According to TwitchTracker, Asmongold’s revenue skyrocketed after monetization. On December 6 alone, the streamer earned a staggering $56,524, contributing to a total revenue of $90,057 between December 5 and December 10. His rapid rise to the top continues, with his sub count climbing toward the 50,000 mark, putting him within reach of streamers like Hasan, who holds the fifth spot with over 51,000 subs.

Asmongold’s fans wasted no time in supporting him, with the streamer claiming to have gained over 10,000 subscriptions within just 10 minutes of activating monetization. His massive earnings demonstrate the power of Twitch’s dedicated community and Asmongold's continued influence on the platform.
