ISLAMABAD:

A woman and a milkman were killed in two separate incidents in the federal capital on Wednesday.

In the first case, Nasir Jan, a resident of Margalla Town, informed Margalla police that his sister, Veera Jonathon, was allegedly killed by Ali Raza with the help of unidentified accomplices. Nasir added that his father was in Germany, while his mother and the deceased had been staying in Dubai.

Nasir said that his sister had sought legal support from Ali Raza, who lured her to Elsim Tower. She contacted her brother to accompany her at 2pm but became unreachable soon after. Later that evening, police summoned Nasir, and upon his arrival, he discovered his sister's body. After a postmortem, police handed over the body to her family and registered a case, but no arrests have been made.

In the second incident, Muhammad Zaheer, a milkman employed at a buffalo shed in Soan, died under suspicious circumstances. Saeed Akhtar told Khanna police that Zaheer had worked at the shed for four months under Umar Khan and Baga Khan. Zaheer fell ill and was hospitalised at BBH from December 2 to December 9. Before his death, Zaheer reportedly expressed suspicion that he had been poisoned.
