Boy rescued from kidnapping attempt

LAHORE:

Traffic wardens in the Gujomata area prevented an attempted kidnapping and saved the life of a 12-year-old boy.

The traffic Inspector Khizar Bhatti and his fellow wardens acted when they noticed a suspicious motorcycle carrying a child.

The unnamed motorcyclists were attempting to abduct the boy when the traffic officers signalled for them to stop.

Upon seeing the police, the suspects abandoned the child and fled the scene.

The boy later revealed that the suspects had attempted to drug him the previous night by making him inhale narcotic substances.
