Karachi sees four fire incidents in a day, no casualties

The incidents occurred in a house, a wedding hall, huts, and a shop.

Four fire incidents were reported across various areas of Karachi in a single day, with no casualties reported.

According to Express News, the incidents occurred in a house, a wedding hall, huts, and a shop, resulting in the destruction of two huts and other belongings.

KMC Fire Brigade officials stated that a fire broke out in a house near Korangi No. 4, Grass Mandi. Fire brigade personnel reached the location and extinguished the flames. The fire caused damage to household items in one room.

In another incident, fire broke out in huts in Korangi No. 5. Fire brigade officials promptly responded and extinguished the fire. Two makeshift homes were damaged, but no casualties were reported.

Additionally, a fire broke out in a wedding hall in the Green Town area of Shah Faisal, burning chairs and other items. Fire brigade personnel reached the scene and contained the fire. No injuries or loss of life were reported in this incident either.

Meanwhile, a fire broke out in an air conditioning shop located at the back of Taj Complex on M.A. Jinnah Road. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby shops. The shop's inventory was destroyed however, no casualties were reported.

Last week a fire that broke out at Rimpa Plaza on M.A. Jinnah Road in Karachi had been doused by firefighters after hours of struggle.

According to Rescue 1122, fire and rescue personnel, along with two ambulances, four fire trucks, and a snorkel, were quickly dispatched to the scene upon receiving the alarm.

The blaze started on the fourth floor, which houses various spare parts godowns, offices, and shops, including a clinic.
