The NYPD shared newly released images of the person accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on Saturday evening. One image shows the suspect masked and seated in a taxi, captured after the shocking Midtown homicide.

In one of the photos, the suspect appears to look directly at a camera while seemingly conversing with the driver through a divider window.

According to police, the suspect fled the Central Park vicinity in a cab after carrying out the brutal murder near the Hilton Hotel in Midtown. However, authorities could not confirm if the taxi image was from that specific ride.

Law enforcement confirmed to *The Post* that these images were captured after the suspect allegedly killed Thompson.

Earlier in the day, the NYPD disclosed that a backpack belonging to the suspect was discovered in Central Park. It contained a jacket and counterfeit currency from the board game Monopoly.

Investigators now believe the weapon used in the crime was a veterinary gun, typically used to euthanize livestock. This type of weapon requires reloading after every shot, as seen in surveillance footage of the suspect reloading.

Each bullet casing had a word written on it in marker: “Depose,” “Delay,” and “Deny,” referencing the 2010 book Delay, Deny, Defend, which is a critical analysis of the health insurance industry.

Thompson was fatally shot Wednesday near a luxury hotel in Midtown in what police described as a “brazen, targeted attack.”

The entire incident was captured on security footage, showing the suspect shooting Thompson three times in the back as he headed to an insurance conference where he was scheduled to present.

Authorities stated the suspect wrote “defend,” “depose,” and “deny” on the casings and might be a “disgruntled employee or disgruntled client.”

The suspect reportedly rode a bicycle up Sixth Avenue to Central Park, then took a cab to flee the area. The journey concluded at the Port Authority bus terminal near 178th Street, according to the NYPD.
