The Sindh government has decided to complete the construction of 40 stops for the People's Bus Service (PBS) within two months and to mandate modern, scientific fitness checks for vehicles across the province.
Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon chaired an important meeting held in Karachi. The meeting was attended by Secretary Transport Asad Zamin, PBS Project Director Sohaib Shafiq, and other officials.
Speaking at the meeting, Sharjeel announced that the construction of 100 bus stops on PBS routes has been completed and directed that the remaining 40 stops should be completed by January 2025. He stated that the provincial government is committed to making the transport system modern and globally compatible. The modern bus stops of the PBS are crucial for ensuring modern, efficient, and sustainable mobility.
