Preparations have been finalised to re-conduct the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 across Sindh on Sunday (today), in compliance with the court orders. A total of 38,609 candidates are expected to sit for the test, which is being held simultaneously in six cities: Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, and Sukkur.
The MDCAT 2024 paper will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with candidates given three hours and 30 minutes to solve the paper.
Participants are required to reach their designated examination centres by 8.30am. In Karachi, two examination centres have been established, mone at the NED University and the second at the University of Karachi.
Female candidates will enter NED University through the guest gate, while male candidates will use the main gate. The KU will have the Muskan Ground as an examination centre, with entry through Muskan Gate, Metroville Gate, and Sheikh Zayed Gate. Parents of candidates will have access to designated seating areas in wedding halls near the examination centres and the Law Department of KU.
Strict measures have been put in place to ensure the transparency and discipline of the examination.
Candidates are required to bring their original admit slips, identification cards, passports, and matriculation and intermediate marks sheets.
No candidate will be allowed to take the exam without these documents.
