Newly-wed couple robbed at doorsteps

KARACHI:

A newly-wed couple was robbed at the doorstep of their home by armed bandits riding a motorcycle.

The robbers, clad in traditional attire,took the couple hostage at gunpoint and snatched their valuables, including gold ornaments, wallet, mobile phone, and cash on Saturday.

The incident was caught on camera in the Gulshan-e-Jamal area of District East, leaving residents outraged and demanding better security.

As the robbery unfolded, one of the perpetrators pointed a gun towards the area people who had gathered and saw the robbery.

The thieves then escaped on their motorcycle, seemingly unafraid of being caught.
