Robin Ayers, a prominent radio host and entertainment journalist, has passed away at the age of 44.
KBLA 1580 Talk Radio, where Ayers hosted ‘The RA Report with Robin Ayers,’ announced her death on December 5.
Tavis Smiley, a KBLA host, shared the news on behalf of Ayers' family in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter). "Robin was a bright light. Her radiant smile could be felt through the airwaves. We all respected her immense talent and loved her jovial spirit," Smiley expressed.

Ayers joined KBLA Radio in March 2022, where she covered entertainment news and interviewed celebrity guests. Prior to her time at KBLA, she worked as a reporter and correspondent for EURweb for over three years. The outlet described Ayers as "a vibrant personality and passionate storyteller" whose loss leaves "a significant void in entertainment journalism."
EURweb founder Lee Bailey praised Ayers’ dedication to authentic storytelling, calling her a cherished colleague and friend. Robin Ayers is survived by her husband Rob and twin daughters Brooklyn and Madison. A memorial service is being organized by KBLA. The cause of her death has not been disclosed.
