BLACKPINK's Rosé recently opened up about her experiences with workaholism, depression, and the physical toll stress has taken on her. During an appearance on Daesung's YouTube channel, Zip Daesung, the singer shared how her demanding career had impacted her mental and physical health.

Rosé confessed that she doesn't have hobbies outside of her work, explaining, "I only feel a sense of accomplishment through work." The singer revealed that when she takes a break, she struggles to enjoy anything else and feels unproductive. "I’m a workaholic," she admitted, "so I keep working non-stop."

Despite not yet reaching burnout, Rosé acknowledged that her constant work was starting to take a mental toll. "As I keep going, my brain starts to feel like it’s shutting down," she explained. "I began to worry that if I kept heading in the wrong direction, I might not even be able to continue the work I love."

Reflecting on her need for balance, Rosé shared that taking time off had helped her reconnect with herself. "I gained the ability to take care of things I had neglected before," she said. She also revealed that her stress once led to a severe health issue. "I once had shingles," she confessed, attributing it to the extreme stress and fear of losing her job.

Rosé also admitted to experiencing depression at one point, calling it something "anyone can experience, like catching a cold." She emphasized the importance of taking responsibility for her own well-being and acknowledged the need to maintain a healthy balance in her life.

In sharing these personal struggles, Rosé hopes to raise awareness about mental health and the importance of self-care in a high-pressure industry.
