Loossemble ends contract with CTDENM after over a year with the agency
Loossemble, the K-pop girl group formed by former LOONA members Hyunjin, Yeojin, Vivi, Gowon, and Hyeju, has officially ended its contract with CTDENM. The agency made the announcement on November 29, sharing the news through a statement posted on the group's fancafe page. In the statement, CTDENM expressed their gratitude for the group's time together and wished the members well in their future endeavors.
The five-member group debuted under CTDENM in September 2023, following their departure from Blockberry Creative, LOONA's former agency. Loossemble made a strong debut with their self-titled EP, and throughout their year under CTDENM, they released three mini-albums, including the most recent TTYL in September 2024. The group also completed a U.S. tour between September and October of this year. Despite these successes, the group's future with CTDENM is now uncertain.
While it's unclear whether Loossemble will disband or sign with another agency, member Hyeju reassured fans via the fan platform Fromm that they will "still be seeing each other," encouraging them not to worry. This news follows closely after the recent departure of NewJeans from HYBE's ADOR label, adding further uncertainty in the K-pop industry.
As fans eagerly await updates, the question remains whether Loossemble will continue their journey together or venture in new directions. The group’s future remains a topic of speculation, and their next steps will be closely watched by fans worldwide.
