MUZAFFARGARH: District coordination officer (DCO) Tahir Khursheed claimed that Muzaffargarh was now a dengue virus-free district and there was no chance of any future outbreak. Khursheed said that the district administration had taken all possible precautions against the virus. He said that 35,000 houses comprised of 80,000 rooms had been fumigated and the administration had also administered special tablets in 1,000 ponds to eradicate mosquitoes. He said that a special campaign was being launched to create awareness among the general public in this regard.
