Child faces charges of demolishing wall, firing shots

Police have registered a case against a 4-year-old boy accusing him of demolishing a wall and firing shots.

The case was filed under the supervision of SHO Akram Shahbaz of Thana Saddar. The child, Abdul Rehman, clutching a baby feeder in his hand, appeared in court while crying on Wednesday.

The case was lodged by complainant Jabir Ali, who accused Abdul Rehman and 12 other individuals, including Mian Arif, Allah Ditta, Umar, Ali, Mithu Lohar, Khadim, Azeem, Adil, Mudassir, Akmal, Ajmal, Muhammad Sajjad, along with 15 unidentified persons.

As per the First Information Report (FIR), the accused allegedly entered Jabir Ali's estate in the Ratta Araiyan area of Thana Saddar, vandalised the property by destroying windows and walls, and subjected the complainant's family to violence.

The FIR claimed that the accused assaulted Jabir Ali and his father, Muhammad Ikram, leaving Jabir severely injured.

The report further states that Jabir's mother, Safia Bibi, wife Mehak Shahzadi, and sister-in-law Zahra Shahzadi were also attacked, their clothes torn, leaving them partially unclothed.

The alleged assailants reportedly issued severe threats and fired shots before fleeing the scene.

Court Appearance of the Accused Child

Following Jabir Ali's complaint, police filed charges against 28 individuals, including 4-year-old Abdul Rehman.

The young boy, holding his feeder, appeared in court to seek interim bail.

The family of Abdul Rehman expressed outrage, stating that they repeatedly informed SHO Akram Shahbaz that the child was not present at the crime scene.

However, their pleas were ignored.The court has granted interim bail to Abdul Rehman, providing temporary relief.
