RAWALPINDI:

A private hospital in Rawalpindi Cantonment, which was sealed due to allegations of misusing residential land for commercial purposes, has been granted a 10-day extension to submit the required documents. Failure to comply within this period will result in final legal action.

The hospital, located on Murree Road near Murrir Chowk, had been issued multiple notices by the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) regarding the violation of land use rules, but the hospital administration failed to respond.

As a result, the RCB sealed the administrative block of the hospital and filed a case against the violation under the Military Lands and Cantonments (MLC) Act.

The hospital administration contested the case in court. According to a spokesperson for the RCB, during a recent hearing, the court provided the hospital with an additional 10 days to submit the necessary documentation.
