The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore has issued arrest warrant for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur over the alleged vandalism on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway's Ring Road, reported Express News on Tuesday.
ATC Administrative Judge Manzoor Ali Gill made the ruling after hearing a request from the investigation officer of the case. The officer had sought arrest warrant for Gandapur in connection with the vandalism incident.
A case was registered against Gandapur at the Manawan Police Station in Lahore, accusing him of causing damage to property along the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway’s Ring Road.
The investigation officer argued that the accused had failed to appear for questioning, necessitating the issuance of arrest warrant.
