Young man shot dead on 'personal enmity'

A young man, Muhammad Osama, was shot dead near Zahra Square in Karachi; police probe ongoing over land dispute.

Armed outlaws, riding a motorcycle, shot a young man dead near in Bolton Market area on Monday. The deceased owned a goods transport office in Zahra Square near Karachi Chamber office.

Unidentified armed suspects killed 22-year-old Muhammad Osama son of Muhammad Ashraf in the parking area of Zahra Square within the jurisdiction of Mithadar police station. The assailants fled scene without facing any resistance. The deceased hailed from Narowal, Punjab, and currently lived in Bihar Colony.

The police found five shells of 9mm pistol from the spot. The cousin of the murdered youth informed the police that the property and land dispute between the deceased youth's uncle and nephew was going on in his native place.
