LHC lauds environmental initiatives

LAHORE:

Justice Shahid Karim of the Lahore High Court has commended the Punjab government's efforts aimed at improving the environment and reducing smog.

He noted that with sustained commitment, these measures could lead to lasting positive outcomes, particularly in Lahore.

The Advocate General of Punjab presented documentation outlining immediate, medium, and long-term environmental policies. These include unprecedented practical measures, such as flood prevention development schemes. Efforts are also directed at ensuring groundwater availability.
