The United States Postal Service (USPS) announced a 2025 Forever Stamp honoring the late Betty White, celebrating her legendary career in television and her lifelong dedication to animal advocacy. Known for her iconic roles in 'The Golden Girls,' 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show,' and 'Boston Legal,' White captivated audiences across seven decades, blending charm and wit that spanned generations.

The stamp, set to feature a smiling White from a 2010 photograph by Kwaku Alston, was illustrated by Boston-based artist Dale Stephanos. USPS described her as "an icon of American television," applauding her ability to connect with younger audiences even into her 90s.

White passed away in December 2021, just shy of her 100th birthday. Fans across political divides, including supporters of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, united in celebrating this tribute to the beloved star. Social media erupted with admiration, with one fan posting, "Betty White was my hero all my life."
