KARACHI: In the latest sweep of Karachi, the authorities came 18 suspects closer to purging Karachi of target killers. Five suspects were taken into custody from Orangi’s Rasheedabad area while the Pirabad police claim to have seized weapons. SHO Pervez Gujjar said that the suspects are not affiliated with any party but are professional criminals associated with Orangi’s Bhalu group.  In another raid, law enforcers arrested an alleged worker of Sunni Tehreek, Hubul Bengali, after a brief encounter at Khawaja Ajmair Nagri. DSP Altaf Hussain said that Bengali was involved in the killing of three members of banned outfit Sipah Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) in Godhra Camp.
