Alec Baldwin made a comedic return to Saturday Night Live (SNL), portraying Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in a skit poking fun at Donald Trump and Joe Biden’s widely discussed Oval Office meeting earlier this week. The meeting marked a significant transition of power after the 2024 U.S. election, with Trump meeting Biden for nearly two hours despite previous tensions.

Dana Carvey reprised his role as Biden, delivering an opening line to set the tone: “Hello everybody. Thank you to the press for joining us to document this very important presidential transition meeting. I’m being serious right now. Even though we disagree, I’m eager to sit down for a respectful conversation.” Comedian James Austin Johnson, as Trump, responded humorously, saying, “Instead of being rude and crazy like usual, I’m doing quiet and serene, which in many ways is a lot scarier.”

The skit escalated with Baldwin’s portrayal of Kennedy Jr., highlighting controversial moments in his public life. Baldwin joked, “Americans need someone to teach them how to be healthy—someone like me, a 70-year-old man with movie star looks and a worm in his brain.” His character continued with biting satire: “I care about a woman’s right to choose—to choose to give her child Polio. I got a dead dolphin in my car; I think I’ll saw it in half and dump it in Central Park.”

The satirical performance comes amid Baldwin’s gradual return to public life following the Rust movie set controversy. Fans have praised the actor for his comedic timing and ability to tackle divisive topics with humor.
