Due to open support for the Palestinian cause being a controversial take online ever since the movement gained momentum, Palestinian artistry has reached new levels of invisibility. From having collections destroyed in the genocide to being censored on social platforms for mentioning key terminology, those who stand on this side of history must resort to tricking algorithms or keeping their views to themselves to avoid controversy.

But Huda Kattan has proved that she will not be silenced on account of being controversial. The makeup artist took to Instagram earlier this November to announce that she would be meeting up with Palestinian singer Nemahsis, who was also no less enthusiastic about the occasion.

In a reel shared on Instagram, Nemahsis highlighted Huda's outspoken support of her music since 2021. "She's a Palestinian artist who actually spoke out about Palestine last year in October. Her music label dropped her after she had just signed to them," Huda informed her followers in the video.

"I love to be connected to women like this," the beauty mogul continued. "She's so incredible, so strong. And I want to support her because I love her and she gives me so much strength." The 41-year-old artist sustained this energy at the concert, where she was recorded being in awe of the singer and embracing her wholeheartedly.

Nemahsis was also not short on words on Instagram. "In 2021, Huda Kattan used my debut song What If I Took It Off For You in one of her viral videos, and I honestly thought it was a mistake. For a week, I was sick to my stomach knowing she knew who I was, let alone my original music! Three years later, and she's still here," the 30-year-old singer revealed.

She further penned a heartfelt note to Huda, labelling the artist as "every woman's role model and our blueprint". "In October 2023, you proved once again that you're a true feminist, entrepreneur, and creative. I love you so much," Nemahsis concluded.

The woman-on-woman support did not halt even in the comments section where Huda exclaimed, "Babe! Your caption has me in tears. You don't know what you do and what you represent for many of us! You are a strength unparalleled, and I adore you beyond words." And this was only one of the several heartwarming comments from the artist.

Ever-ready with a matching response, Nemahsis replied, "Do you not hear yourself in the video?! I love you so much! I keep watching it and tearing up."
