BHAKKAR:

Two separate traffic accidents in Bhakkar have claimed the lives of three people and left nine others injured, with two reported to be in critical condition due to severe smog on Sunday.

The first incident occurred on MM Road when a passenger bus collided with a stationary trailer due to low visibility caused by the smog.

The crash resulted in the immediate deaths of the bus driver and conductor, while nine passengers sustained injuries.

Rescue teams reported that two of the injured are in serious condition. The bus, which was en route from Uch Sharif to Rawalpindi, had around 50 passengers onboard.

Emergency responders provided on-site medical assistance before transferring the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bhakkar for further treatment.

The deceased were also moved to the hospital for post-mortem examinations.
