Karachi is set to experience fog on Monday and Tuesday, with the meteorological department warning of reduced visibility as cool winds from Balochistan sweep across the city.
According to an early warning from Pakistan’s meteorological department, fog could affect visibility during morning hours, Express News reported.
A mix of sea and land breezes from Balochistan is expected to influence the city’s weather pattern, bringing cool winds and fog.
Minimum temperatures in Karachi over the next three days are expected to hover around 21 degrees Celsius, with maximum temperatures likely reaching between 33 and 35 degrees, forecasters said.
In other parts of Sindh, dense fog could lead to warm and dry conditions, according to the department.
Last week, Karachi experienced a warm weather, with temperatures reaching 38°C and humidity levels ranging from 40% to 60%.
The weather remained primarily dry throughout the week.
Humidity remained elevated, contributing to the warm conditions across the city.
Overall, Karachi experienced sunny weather, providing a consistent pattern of dry conditions in the upcoming days.
Hyderabad recorded a maximum temperature of 42°C and 84% humidity, anticipating hot and dry weather.
Thatta saw 40°C with 88% humidity, while Sukkur reached 39°C and 83% humidity, both expecting mainly sunny conditions. Mithi reported a high of 42°C with 84% humidity.
Cooler nights for Karachiites from mid-November
Karachi is anticipated to experience cooler nights starting from mid-November, according to various weather forecasting sources.
Currently, the city and lower Sindh are under a high-temperature wave, with daytime highs ranging from 38 to 40 degrees Celsius.
