Nicole Scherzinger has apologized for her comment on Russell Brand's Instagram post, which featured a red hat reading "Make Jesus First Again." The post, made ahead of the U.S. presidential election, sparked backlash due to its resemblance to Donald Trump's signature MAGA hats.

Scherzinger initially commented, "Where do I get this hat?" with prayer hands and heart emojis, but later deleted it. In her apology on Instagram, she clarified that her intention was to promote love and faith, not politics.

"I come from a place of love, and I will always support values that bring us closer together," Scherzinger wrote. She emphasized her commitment to marginalized communities and standing with those hurt by the election results.

The controversy surrounding Scherzinger's comment also raised concerns about her engagement with Russell Brand, who faces allegations of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse.

Scherzinger, known for her work as a Pussycat Doll and Broadway star, has previously campaigned for Barack Obama and expressed pro-life views.
