Rapper, DJ, and record producer Lord Jamar spoke with The Art of Dialogue, discussing Diddy’s ongoing legal issues. In the interview, uploaded to YouTube on November 8, he expressed concern, saying he didn’t want to see Sean Combs end up like Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier and convicted sex offender who died by apparent suicide in 2019.

“I don’t know what’s gonna happen. I feel like a lot of people is like kind of waiting for some Epstein sh*t to happen. I hate to say it but I feel people wouldn’t be surprised if one of these days we heard some sh*t happened… and they found him Epstein style,” Lord Jamar shared.

He continued, “I hope that does not happen, ‘cause you know… there’s certain sh*t I don’t like about him, but at the same time you know he was from around the way… he still is a Black man and I don’t want to, you know? He’s just a human being. Like I don’t want to see somebody lose their life over this dumb sh*t.”

Lord Jamar also commented on Diddy facing several sexual assault lawsuits following his recent arrest, some of which involve accusations of exploiting minors.

In his conversation with The Art of Dialogue, Lord Jamar shared his fear that Diddy might harm himself while in prison, awaiting trial. He claimed that the possibility was on people’s minds, though most were “too scared” to say it openly.

However, he emphasized that he didn’t want Sean Combs to face a similar fate to Jeffrey Epstein. Lord Jamar expressed concern for Diddy’s well-being, recognizing him as both a fellow human and an African-American man with a life still ahead.

Additionally, the Brand Nubian co-founder shared his view that many of the lawsuits against Diddy were “piling on” as accusers sought financial gain.

“They're just trying to get a payday and just see 'hey let me run it up the flag pole and see if it flies,' which is not cool for the real victims and sh*t like that. It muddies… the waters. Um, but you know what? As a tactic, it would almost be smart, right? … To send a bunch of fake people in with cases. Like if you were Diddy, to try to discredit the real ones,” he stated.
