After Donald Trump's win in the U.S. Presidential Election on November 5, 2024, Meek Mill’s tweet sparked significant online attention. He posted the tweet on Wednesday, November 6, claiming that the public had been "brainwashed."
"I'm glad the election over the brainwash was turned up on max!" he tweeted.
This came two days after Mill had urged people to vote in a previous tweet. He had also released a track titled Who You Voting For on November 3, where he appeared to support Kamala Harris, a fellow candidate in the election. Part of the song's lyrics said: "My homie said he vote for Trump, he want that stimulus. I want it too for him, but the way he moving venomous. I work for everything I got, earn all my privileges. They give immunity to cops, they gone probably finish us."
Meanwhile, users flooded The Shade Room’s Instagram post featuring Meek Mill’s tweet to share their opinions.

Several people appeared dissatisfied, with one commenting: "Just like diddy brainwashed you."
After Diddy’s arrest in September, Mill’s name surfaced among other celebrities linked to him, including a recorded call between Mill and Diddy that also circulated that month, which many believed had been altered.

Mill later denied any association with the rapper via X, calling the call a “conspiracy to target people like him.”
Additionally, he tweeted on September 24, 2024, that he was offering $100,000 to an investigative team to uncover any supposed connections to Diddy’s case.
He also wrote: "I also want them to look at who is powering the media involving "meek" anything to do with buddy! "Something not right."
In response to Mill’s recent tweet, social media users continued sharing their thoughts.
