Diddy, also known as Sean John Combs, is currently awaiting a trial set for May 5, 2025. The rapper was arrested in September of this year on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for purposes of prostitution. He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
In the meantime, Sean’s son, King Combs, posted a video on November 6, 2024, on his father’s Instagram account, announcing that he would now be managing the account.
In the clip, King was heard saying: "It's King Kong and right now I'm taking over my pops Instagram. We going to be posting videos by spreading, you know, good energy and taking y'all down memory lane and all the positive things he did. So stay tuned and watch this. Let's go. We love you pops. Happy birthday."
Diddy’s last activity on the account was on October 15, celebrating his youngest daughter Love’s birthday. He shared a series of photos of Love, captioning the post: "Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday baby Love! Happy Birthday to you!! Happy Birthday @loveseancombs daddy loves you."
Following King’s announcement about taking over the account, two additional videos were uploaded. One included a birthday tribute to Diddy, with a caption that read: "Pops motivation to making music is always to make us dance and feel good. Happy Birthday Pops!!!"
